Hi,
I am hoping to make my second trip to the Abe Lenstra in February 2019. At the moment I am just planning ahead before I book plane tickets. Do the Eredivisie change the kick off times or dates of the matches at short notice for TV broadcast scheduling?
This is something that always happens in the Premier League because the broadcasters with the TV rights are always messing around with the kick-off times about 6 weeks before the match. If the TV broadcasters in The Netherlands also do the same it means I have to wait until a few months before booking, but then the cost of flights becomes more expensive.
Thanks for your help.

Re: 2018/19 Fixture Schedule
You can book your flight tickets and hotel. The fixtures for the entire 2018/19 season are set and won't change, except in exceptional circumstances. As far as i know, we are the only league in all of Europe that sets all fixtures before the start of the season without touching them during the season if we don't have to.

Re: 2018/19 Fixture Schedule
Schedule can only change due to an European cup match of one of our league opponents (in the 2nd half of the league season). However, it could only differ one or two days. European Cup matches are scheduled on tuesday, wednesday or thursday. A European cup match on wednesday/thursday could cause a schedule change of the league match from friday/saturday to sunday.

Re: 2018/19 Fixture Schedule
True, but that would be an exception and doesn't happen a lot. Besides, if you look at how Dutch teams have been playing in the European competitions for the last few seasons, you probably won't have to worry about any schedule changes after the winter break.
If you want to be safe, just book a long weekend and add friday and monday to your trip. That way you'll be covered in the unlikely event of a schedule change.

Re: 2018/19 Fixture Schedule
Either of those games would be nice, one against a local team, another against the champions. The PSV game would probably be more likely to be moved to a Sunday if they are still involved in European football next February.Satyr schreef:https://www.sc-heerenveen.nl/voetbal/wedstrijden

Unlikely, they play CL (tuesday/wednesday) and only if they finish 3rd in their group they will play EL. And Dutch teams usually suck in the CL, so the change is small
